TechHub operates in hundreds of schools across New Zealand, and is completely free for participating schools.
Whether you'd like experienced and enthusiastic IT Professionals to visit your school and inspire your students about careers in IT, want to get your students into the TechHub CREST Challenge, or want to participate in a great tech expo, find out more below.
The TechHub in-school presentations set out to inspire today’s youth to become tomorrow’s IT Professionals.
TechHub talks dispel myths and misconceptions that youth hold about working in IT and encourages your students to make subject choices to align themselves for further study or work in IT. Our talks aren't restricted to just Digital Technologies, we also encourage STEM subjects and subjects which excite your students, whether it be arts, music, history or languages.
The TechHub CREST Challenge is a collaboration of TechHub in partnership with CREST, run by the Royal Society of New Zealand.
CREST stands for CREativity in Science and Technology, where Year 9 and 10 students work in teams of 3 or 4 students to research, design and develop a mobile app from initial concept and design to development over 12 weeks in class.
The TechHub crew are no strangers to Careers expos and fairs. You'll find us at all sorts of careers events up and down the country.
If you want us to come to your school to take part in your careers event, simply contact us with the details of the right person to talk to and we'll take it from there.
