TechHub is New Zealand's dedicated nationwide tech outreach programme into schools, operated by IT Professionals New Zealand in partnership with a number of other tech bodies and companies.
TechHub is the IT industry's in-school programme to increase the visibility and desirability of a career in IT for the next generation of IT Professionals. It’s designed to inspire and educate young people about future options in our sector, and help guide them there.
The programme puts role model IT professionals face-to-face with students in schools, introducing and discussing what a future in IT means to them. The presenters explain what they do in a short series of weekly presentations, plus illustrate the diverse opportunities and pathways available in our great industry.
TechHub, in partnership with the Royal Society of New Zealand, also runs the TechHub CREST Challenge, a term-long in-class product and development project.
Schools and potential Presenters can sign up for TechHub here.
